Director/Freelancer – Cae fidelity Ltd 
2017 –

I started working as a freelancer in 2017 and then started Cae Fidelity Ltd in 2019. Please see my previous events page for details of the events I have worked on and the roles I played in the production.

Senior Technician – Onyx Presentations 
2007 – 2017 (with three year sabbatical)

Onyx provide a ‘one stop shop’ for high end technology across all departments and the tech support to back it up.

Over the 9 years I spent at Onyx I worked my way up from warehouse assistant to senior technician; and in the last few years I also took on further responsibilities including pre event site recce’s, bespoke equipment specifications and onsite crew management for a variety of different types of events as well as other office responsibilities.

Notable events and roles:

  • Imperial Brands (Imperial Tobacco) – Various international conferences and events – Preferred Audio No1.
  • Accenture International Women’s Day – 2015 – 2017 – Audio No2, Amps and RX.
  • Google Zeitgeist various years – The Grove Hotel – General video crew (main room) & Video technician (breakout).
  • Goodwood Festival of Speed – Tech support to Mini and BMW VIP areas.
  • Olympics 2012 -olympic shooting range – LED technician.

Senior Technician – Audio Visual Dynamics (AUS)
2012 – 2014

AVD provide equipment and tech support across Australia and are the in-house preferred supplier to a number of locations across Melbourne including Melbourne Cricket Ground Stadium (MCG), Etihad Stadium, Langham hotel and Melbourne Town Hall. 

Through AVD I was involved in a number of high profile corporate shows including a number of product releases and high level political meetings as well as the day to day conferences and business meetings. I was also part of the in house team that provided the AV support for the MCG AFL season and also provided a highly successful grand final day.

Notable events:

  • AFL League and Grand final – 3 months in-house at MCG – Tech support to VIP areas and corporate boxes.
  • The Darts international Challenge – 6000PAX – Etihad Stadium Melbourne
    – FOH Sound engineer.
  • Boxing Day Test match – MCG – Tech support to VIP areas. ¡

Warehouse Assistant and Production Support – Norwest (AUS)
2013 – 2014

At Norwest Productions I was introduced to large scale audio systems including D&B Audiotechnik, L’acoustic and Mayer. I was also involved in the preparation, rigging and tech support of various types of events from full stadium PA to smaller VIP awards ceremonies, concerts and TV productions.

Notable events:

  • Brownlow Awards – Crown Casino – Audio rig/derig crew.
  • Footy Show – Rod Laver Arena – Audio rig/derig crew.
  • Jehovahs Conference – Etihad Stadium – Audio rig/derig crew.
  • Listen out Festival – Royal Botanical Gardens – Audio rig/derig crew.

Warehouse Assistant and Production Support – Starlight Design 
2004 – 2005

Upkeep, maintenance and prepping of audio equipment. Prepping of cables and other items to be used onsite. Driver, stagehand and production support.

Notable events:

  • Absolute Return for Kids – charity show with Elton John performance – general rig crew
    and driver.
  • Pre World Cup party – David Beckham’s private residence – General crew and driver.
